Virginia Woolf Is My Pen Pal note card
Last week, when Alice Lowe wrote a piece about finding a note card featuring a Virginia Woolf quote at a Trader Joe’s checkout, I felt the urge to look for more Woolf cards.
A Google search later, I had found these cards:
- A couple dozen featuring Woolf, Woolf quotes and Woolf books on Zazzle
- Several choices — from headshots to quotes on Cafe Press
- A familiar caricature card on Amazon and on the Literary Luminaries site
- A set of cards stamped from five different hand-carved designs on Etsy (below right)
- A shaped card (below left) on both The Nationmart and the Literary Gift Company websites.
- I also found the provocative Virginia Woolf is My Pen Pal on the Vulva Love Lovely site that I found reminiscent of the Virginia Woolf plate by Judy Chicago.
Woolf is one author featured in the card game.
