The Driehaus Museum in Chicago has an exhibit of Downton Abbey costumes on until May 8 that includes the Bohemian-style dress Virginia Woolf wore in a 1922 party scene in an episode from season four.
The costumes are displayed on mannequins in the museum, which is housed in a late 19th-century mansion at 40 East Erie St.
You can stay for high tea served by footmen in the garden-inspired setting of the Murphy Auditorium adjacent to the museum, according to a story in The Examiner. Three seatings are available.
Visits to the museum and high tea require an advance ticket purchase or a reservation.
